Netanyahu Reveals Trump's Request to Halt Iran Attacks

On Thursday, March 19, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump requested Israel to refrain from further attacks on Iran's infrastructure during a press conference.

Netanyahu asserted that Iran no longer has the capacity to enrich uranium or manufacture ballistic missiles, emphasizing Israel's independence in conducting military strikes against Iran, particularly in the South Pars gas field. He acknowledged Trump's intervention but stressed that U.S. decisions do not influence Israel's actions.

Netanyahu described the ongoing conflict as exposing cracks within Iran's leadership, particularly following the death of its former leader, Ali Khamenei. He noted that the conflict has significantly impacted global energy markets, especially after Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite Trump's displeasure regarding the strikes, Netanyahu hinted at a possible end to the conflict in the near future.
