Trump Threatens Iran with Annihilation at UNGA81

On September 22, during the 81st United Nations General Assembly, United States President Donald Trump threatened to "annihilate" Iran if it fails to reach an agreement with Washington. He stated that Iran must choose between a negotiated settlement and further escalation, outlining his administration's confrontational actions against Tehran.

Trump warned that the alternative to a deal could lead to severe consequences for Iran, describing the potential outcome as driving the country "into hell." He expressed belief that an agreement would be reached after the November midterm elections, asserting that Tehran is waiting for the election results before deciding on negotiations.
