Trump Appoints Zuckerberg, Brin to Science Council

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump announced the appointment of prominent technology leaders to the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). The roster includes Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg and Google co-founder Sergei Brin.

The council will be co-chaired by David Sack, an AI and cryptocurrency expert, and Michael Kratsios, a tech investor who previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of the United States during Trump's first term. Other notable appointees include Trump ally Larry Ellison, a Silicon Valley heavyweight, and Marc Andreessen, along with Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia.

The council aims to leverage the expertise of these industry leaders to help the United States maintain its leadership in artificial intelligence and other technological advancements.
