Timi Frank Urges Recognition of Cameroon's Opposition Leader as President-Elect

Timi Frank, a former deputy national public secretary of the Progress Congress, has called on the international community to recognize Issa Tchiroma Bakari as the legitimate winner of Cameroon's presidential election, alleging election manipulation by incumbent President Paul Biya. Frank warns of a potential crisis if the election results are tampered with.

He also highlights similar power retention attempts in other African countries like Ivory Coast. The opposition candidate, Bakari, has challenged Biya's decades-long rule.

Frank urges the US, EU, and AU to reject any attempts to legitimize Biya's victory and calls for sanctions against his government.
