TUC Issues Ultimatum to Ministry of Health Over Salary Dispute

The Trade Union Congress (TUC) in Nigeria has given the Ministry of Health a seven-day ultimatum to withdraw the "No Work, No Pay" circular and restore salaries of JOHESU members. TUC criticized the circular as authoritarian and hostile towards Nigerian workers, particularly health workers.

The Ministry was accused of contradictory actions by imposing sanctions while engaging in negotiations. TUC warned of industrial resistance and urged the Ministry to comply within the stipulated timeframe to avoid disruptions in services.
