PDP Faction Challenges Wike's Threat to Close Office

The faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) led by Turaki has publicly challenged Minister Wike's recent threat to close its office in Abuja. During a monthly media chat, Wike demanded that the Turaki-led group prove its operational authenticity and transparency.

In response, Ibrahim Abdullahi, the former PDP Deputy National Public Secretary and principal secretary of the faction, stated that the group already operates from a temporary office, the location of which Wike is aware. Abdullahi warned that the ongoing crisis within the PDP could push the country towards a "Hobbesian state" characterized by anarchy and a brutish existence.

The spokesperson for the Turaki faction dismissed Wike's threats as delusional, asserting that the Federal Capital Territory Minister is aware of the PDP's operational accounts.
