Two Die in Rumuola Junction Crash in Port Harcourt

On late Sunday night, a tragic road crash occurred at Rumuola Junction in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), represented by sector commander Umoh Inyang, confirmed that the victims were involved in a collision after returning from a club.

Reports indicate that the vehicle was speeding when it collided with another vehicle at an intersection. Preliminary findings suggest that the driver may not have properly navigated the roundabout, leading to the fatal incident.

The police were already on the scene to conduct rescue operations and evacuate the deceased to the mortuary. Inyang cautioned motorists against excessive speed and driving under the influence of alcohol, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic regulations to prevent such tragic accidents.
