Fatal Truck Crash in Gombe State Leaves Two Dead, Six Injured

In Gombe state, a fatal road traffic incident occurred involving a heavy-duty truck loaded with bags of rice improperly parked along the Gombe-Yola road. The truck, which allegedly had its handbrake improperly engaged, collided with a Toyota Hilux operated by members of the Hattara Vigilant Group.

This collision resulted in the deaths of two individuals at the scene, while six others sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe for emergency medical care. The truck driver has been arrested, and investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
