Two Drug Manufacturers Jailed 10 Years Each for Illegal Drug Production in Lagos

Two individuals, Yussuf Abayomi Azeez and Keker Ekun Abideen, were convicted and sentenced to 10 years in prison by Justice Akintayo Aluko of the Federal High Court in Lagos for operating a secret drug laboratory in Lagos. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested the defendants in November 2025, seizing a significant amount of illegal substances.

The convicted individuals pleaded guilty to five counts of drug-related charges, including the production of synthetic cannabinoids and opioids. The court also recovered a substantial sum of cash during the arrest, in violation of the nation's drug laws.
