YABATECH Staff Secure ₦62.9m TETFund Grants for Innovative Research

Two staff members at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) in Nigeria have secured a total of ₦62.9 million in research grants from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) National Research Fund (NRF). Emodi Anthony Izuchukwu from the School of Art Design and Printing received ₦32 million for a project on marine pollution, while Akin Olaleru from the School of Engineering received ₦30.9 million for research on renewable energy.

These projects aim to address environmental sustainability and contribute to Nigeria's clean energy goals. The college management commended the researchers for their achievements, emphasizing the significance of their work in advancing technological innovation and economic growth in Nigeria.
