Princess Ademiluyi Prepares for Falconets Clash at U-20 WWC

Princess Ademiluyi, a Nigerian-born striker for the England U20 team and currently playing for Ipswich Town, is looking forward to competing against the Falconets in the round of 16 at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. The match is scheduled to take place at Stadion Miejski Bielsko-Biała in Bielsko-Biała on Thursday afternoon.

Ademiluyi, who has Nigerian heritage through her parents, is eligible to represent the Super Falcons but has played for England at youth levels. Should she wish to switch allegiance to Nigeria in the future, she would need to submit a formal request for a change of nationality.

England advanced to the knockout stage with an undefeated record in the group phase. Ademiluyi, wearing the No. 9 jersey, contributed to the Young Lionesses' 5-1 victory over Tanzania in the group stage.

She emphasized her commitment to treating the upcoming match with professionalism, stating that while it is significant to play against Nigeria, she will approach it like any other game.
