UAC of Nigeria Closed Period: Q3 2026 Results Due by Oct 31

UAC of Nigeria PLC has notified the Nigerian Exchange Group that a closed period on trading in its shares commenced on 1 October 2026, in connection with the preparation of its Unaudited Financial Statements for the period ended 30 September 2026. The unaudited Q3 2026 accounts are due for public release by or before 31 October 2026.
UAC of Nigeria PLC (UACN) filed a Notice of Closed Period with the Nigerian Exchange on 1 October 2026, in compliance with Rule 17.18(a) of the NGX Rulebook 2015 (as amended), which governs closed period rules for listed issuers.
The closed period took effect from 1 October 2026 and relates to the company's Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ended 30 September 2026. Under the terms of the notice, no insider or connected person may directly or indirectly deal in UACN securities during this period.
The restriction on insider trading will remain in place until 24 hours after the Unaudited Q3 2026 Accounts have been released through NGX's Issuers' Portal and made available to the general public. The company has stated that the accounts are due for release by or before 31 October 2026.
The notice was signed by Ayomipo Wey, Company Secretary and Group General Counsel. UACN's board currently comprises Chairman Khalifa Biobaku, Group Managing Director Folasope Aiyesimoju, and five other directors.
