United Bank for Africa Board Meeting Set for October 29, 2026

United Bank for Africa Plc has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited that its Board of Directors will meet on October 29, 2026, to consider unaudited financial statements for the third quarter ending September 30, 2026. The bank has also declared a closed period on trading in its shares and bonds effective October 1, 2026.

United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) filed a notification with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on September 30, 2026, disclosing that its Board of Directors is scheduled to convene on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The primary agenda item disclosed is the consideration of the bank's Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ending September 30, 2026.

In accordance with NGX post-listing requirements, UBA simultaneously declared the commencement of a closed period effective October 1, 2026. The closed period will remain in force until 24 hours after the official release of the Q3 2026 results.

During the closed period, all insiders of the bank and their connected persons are prohibited from directly or indirectly dealing in UBA's securities, which include both shares and bonds. The restriction applies for the duration of the closed period as defined.

The filing was issued by Bili A. Odum, Group Company Secretary/Legal Counsel, by order of the Board. UBA's board, as listed in the filing, is chaired by Emmanuel N. Nnorom, with Oliver Alawuba serving as Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
