UAE Offers 10-Year Residency for Top Graduates

The United Arab Emirates has introduced a Golden Residency programme aimed at attracting outstanding university graduates by offering a 10-year long-term residency permit that does not require a local sponsor. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) oversees this initiative, allowing eligible individuals to live, work, study, and invest in the UAE for the entire duration of their residency, which renews automatically.

Family members of the permit holders are also included in this arrangement. To qualify, applicants must meet two core conditions: they must hold a recommendation letter from their university or a graduation certificate with a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or above from an accredited institution, and they must have graduated no more than two years prior to their application.

Additionally, applicants are required to submit excellence certificates and recommendations from their educational institutions. This initiative reflects the UAE's commitment to retaining academic talent.
