UAE Sets Four Criteria for Humanitarian Pioneers' Residency

The United Arab Emirates has announced four eligibility conditions for Humanitarian Pioneers to qualify for the Golden Residency program, which is managed by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP). This program grants a ten-year renewable residency in the UAE without the need for a local sponsor, allowing holders to live, work, study, and invest in the country with their families.

The four pathways to eligibility include: 1) having served as a member or outstanding employee of an international or regional organization for at least five years; 2) having served in a public-benefit association or non-profit organization for a minimum of five years; 3) financial contributors who have donated at least AED 2,000,000 to humanitarian causes; and 4) all applicants must hold a university degree. The program aims to attract skilled individuals who contribute to the UAE's development and offers long-term stability for recipients.
