UAE Launches 7 Job Portals and Jobseeker Visa for Foreigners

The UAE government has published a guide detailing seven official job portals for foreigners to search for employment in the country. Alongside this, a jobseeker visit visa has been introduced, allowing foreigners to enter the UAE without needing a host or sponsor.

This visa is available in three durations: 60, 90, or 120 days, providing flexibility for job seekers. Registration on the job portals is free, although some offer optional paid services for additional features.

Importantly, no commission is owed to anyone if a job is secured through these platforms, protecting applicants from exploitation. The seven official portals include: the job portal managed by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, Abu Dhabi Government job portal, Dubai Careers, job seekers services in Sharjah, Government of Ajman under the Kawader platform, RAK jobs for Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah Government jobs.

This initiative aims to ease the job search process for Nigerians and other Africans considering employment in the Gulf region.
