UBA Celebrates Female Leadership at ‘Gen.W’ Event

UBA Plc hosted the event ‘Gen.W: The Evolved Woman’ on March 8, 2023, to celebrate female leadership as part of International Women’s Month. The hybrid session took place at UBA House in Marina, Lagos, and was transmitted live globally.

Michel Nwoga, UBA's Group Head of Customer Experience, opened the event, emphasizing the evolving role of women in leadership. The event was moderated by media personality Tobi Bakre and featured a panel of successful women, including entrepreneur Joyce Awosika and digital entrepreneur Tomik Adeoy.

Discussions highlighted the importance of women creating their own opportunities and narratives in business. Alero Ladipo, UBA's Group Head of Brand and Corporate Communications, commended the panelists and attendees for their contributions.
