Uba Sani Appoints Suleiman Sa’ad Abubakar Emir of Kagarko

Governor Uba Sani has appointed Alhaji Suleiman Sa’ad Abubakar as the new Emir of Kagarko, effective immediately. This decision was announced in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Local Government, Alhaji Sadiq Mamman Lago.

The appointment follows a rigorous selection process conducted by the Kagarko Emir Council, which involved screening and contesting candidates. Suleiman Sa’ad Abubakar succeeds the late 2nd Class Emir of Kagarko, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, who passed away on January 8, 2026.

The new emir is expected to promote peace and harmony within the community. Governor Uba Sani congratulated the new emir on his ascension to the throne and stated that arrangements for a formal installation ceremony will be communicated in due course.
