Uba Sani Receives Leadership Inclusivity Award at Summit

Governor Uba Sani was awarded the Leadership Inclusivity Award at the Women In Leadership Summit, which emphasized the importance of economic inclusivity and gender equality. The summit highlighted Sani's visionary approach to governance, viewing gender inclusivity as a vital driver of economic change rather than mere rhetoric.

He stated that women's exclusion from opportunities hinders societal progress. His administration has established a N5 billion Women Economic Empowerment Fund in the 2025 budget to support women entrepreneurs.

Additionally, initiatives such as training 5,000 women and girls in AI and digital skills aim to enhance their employability. Sani's administration also focuses on improving access to education for girls and has implemented financial inclusion programs benefiting two million underserved individuals, particularly women.

The summit served as a platform for discussing sustainable development and the need for systemic changes to empower women and youth in Kaduna State.
