Uba Sani Releases N2.3bn for Kaduna Retirees and Families

Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani approved the release of N2.3 billion for the settlement of pension entitlements and gratuities for retirees and families of deceased workers. The disbursement covers benefits under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and the old Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).

This move is part of the government's commitment to prioritizing the welfare of pensioners in the state, with a total of N5 billion disbursed over the last two years. The Kaduna State Pension Bureau confirmed the allocation of funds for 661 retirees and families, ensuring timely and regular payments to ease the financial burden faced by senior citizens.
