Uba Sani Advocates for Urban Planning Collaboration

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has expressed the need for collaboration with the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners to enhance urban planning and land administration in the state. During a courtesy visit from the institute, Sani highlighted the ongoing reforms in land administration and the importance of expert guidance and partnership with professional bodies to ensure adherence to standards and promote innovative planning practices.

He noted that the administration is committed to rural and urban development, with a focus on massive infrastructure development. The governor recalled Kaduna State's historical collaboration with the institute, dating back to the 1913 master plan, and mentioned that the state has been selected as a pioneer for the World Bank Group's Nigerian land title registration document program.

Sani urged the institute to continue providing expert advisory and technical services to impact social and economic development positively.
