Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani to Build Nigeria's Largest Bus Terminal

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has announced plans to build the largest bus terminal in Nigeria along the Eastern Bypass in Chikun Local Government Area. Spanning 20 hectares, the ultra-modern inter-state bus terminal will have dual terminus capacity to accommodate 5,000 vehicles.

It will include advanced surveillance systems, architectural features for accessibility, a refueling station, and a three-star hotel within the complex. The project aims to serve as a major economic catalyst, create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, and enhance security and surveillance in the region.

The terminal is part of a broader initiative to transform Kaduna State's transport ecosystem, following the deployment of 100 free CNG buses last year. Governor Uba Sani envisions the terminal as a solution to congestion, insecurity, and inefficiencies in the current transport system, promoting safe, efficient, and transparent mobility.
