Uba Sani Flags Off Hajj Exercise, Urges Prayers for Nigeria

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, urged pilgrims to pray for Nigeria as he flagged off the Hajj exercise at the Mando Hajj Camp on Wednesday. He praised the efforts to ensure that pilgrims from the state perform the 2026 Hajj exercise comfortably in Saudi Arabia.

The Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Pilgrim Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, disclosed that the state has made significant improvements to the Mando Hajj Camp, including the construction of modern structures and an ICT center.

Governor Sani emphasized the importance of the welfare of the pilgrims and the need for a safe return home. He also advised pilgrims to avoid carrying prohibited items to Saudi Arabia and warned against accepting luggage from others to prevent drug trafficking issues, which carry severe penalties in Saudi Arabia.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor and the Emir of Zazzau, who also provided guidance to the pilgrims.
