UCA Commends FG for Upholding Education Quality Assurance

The Union of Campus Academics (UCA) praised the Federal Government for its commitment to quality assurance in higher education institutions in the Niger Republic. During a press conference in Abuja, UCA Chairman Dr.

Ayanlola Ayanyimika stated that the government's decision to adopt an official list of accredited higher education institutions demonstrates its unwavering commitment to preserving the integrity and credibility of Nigeria's educational system. He noted that certain institutions failing to appear on the approved list indicate they did not meet the minimum requirements for accreditation.

Dr. Ayanyimika advised graduates from institutions not listed to refrain from engaging in media propaganda that misinforms the public or attacks the Federal Ministry of Education.

This statement underscores the government's resolve to ensure that qualifications obtained from accredited institutions are duly recognized within Nigeria.
