Bent urges Arteta to bench Kepa for Arsenal's success

Former England footballer Darren Bent has urged Arsenal's coach Mikel Arteta to stop fielding Kepa Arrizabalaga and to ensure David Raya starts in goal for the remainder of the season. This advice follows Arsenal's 2-1 FA Cup exit against Southampton last Saturday.

Despite this setback, Arsenal currently holds a nine-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings. Bent expressed concerns about the performances of certain players, particularly Gabriel Jesus, who he described as a "passenger" during the recent defeat.

He also noted that Gabriel Magalhaes appeared anxious in the absence of William Saliba. Bent emphasized the need for Arteta to provide players with game time that yields results, mentioning that Max Dowman has shown potential.

The Gunners are set to refocus on the Premier League as they prepare to host Bournemouth on Saturday at 12:30 PM.
