Galatasaray's Osimhen Set to Challenge Barcelona's Defense
Ismael García, the assistant coach of Galatasaray, warned Barcelona that Victor Osimhen could take advantage of their high defensive line in their UEFA Champions League encounter. García confirmed that Osimhen has returned from injury and is ready to lead Galatasaray's attack against Barcelona.
He highlighted Osimhen's pace, power, and movement as crucial attributes that could create problems for Barcelona's defense, managed by Hansi Flick. García described Osimhen as a decisive player, stating, "he's ready to play and he’s a completely differential player for us." He noted that Barcelona's aggressive defensive style could allow Osimhen to exploit spaces behind their defenders.
Despite acknowledging the challenge posed by Barcelona, García expressed confidence that Galatasaray could make the match uncomfortable for them. Both teams are coming off domestic victories, with Barcelona winning 3-0 against Getafe and Galatasaray defeating Kasımpaşa 3-1.
