ASUS Opens First Flagship Store in Nigeria, Boosts Innovation

On [date not specified], Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, SAN, the Honourable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, officially commissioned the first ASUS Flagship Store in Nigeria and West Africa, located in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos.

He described this investment as a strong endorsement of Nigeria’s innovation ecosystem and the Federal Government’s commitment to making the country a leading technology and innovation hub in Africa. Dr.

Udeh highlighted that ASUS' establishment of its first regional flagship outlet in Nigeria reflects increasing international confidence in the nation's economy and the transformative reforms under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He noted that the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology is implementing strategic reforms to convert research into wealth and innovation into sustainable economic opportunities.

The Minister also praised the ASUS-Konga partnership as a model for Public-Private Partnerships, which will enhance access to advanced technologies and empower various sectors in Nigeria. He encouraged further collaboration and investment from global technology companies in Nigeria’s expanding innovation ecosystem.
