PSV and Shakhtar, Fenerbahçe and Roma Draw in UCL

On Thursday, two UEFA Champions League matches concluded with 1-1 draws. At the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, PSV Eindhoven faced Shakhtar Donetsk, who took the lead through Gleiker Mendoza in first-half stoppage time after a controversial incident involving PSV defender Sergiño Dest.

PSV equalized shortly after the break with a goal from Dest in the 48th minute. Despite PSV's pressure, Shakhtar, under head coach Arda Turan in his first Champions League match, managed to secure a point.

In Istanbul, Fenerbahçe and AS Roma also ended in a 1-1 draw. Roma initially led with a goal from Bryan Crist, but Fenerbahçe equalized later in the match.

This fixture marked a significant return for both clubs to the Champions League after lengthy absences, with Fenerbahçe last participating in the 2008/09 season.
