UEFA Fines Bayern Munich €89,625 for Champions League Incidents

The fine includes €40,000 for spectator disturbances, €30,000 for a fan banner that criticized UEFA, €14,000 for blocking aisles, and €5,625 for throwing objects.

The incidents occurred after Bayern scored twice in the second leg, securing their place in the semi-finals. Following the dramatic finish, fans from the club's ultra section climbed the pitch-side barrier to celebrate, which led to chaos and injuries, including a spectator suffering a concussion and head lacerations requiring medical attention.

Bayern Munich's sporting director, Christoph Freund, expressed confidence that the upcoming second leg semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain would be played in front of a full crowd, despite the threat of partial stadium closure as a punishment.
