UEFA Penalizes Hansi Flick, Barcelona Players After UCL Semi-Final Incident

UEFA has penalized Barcelona manager Hansi Flick and assistant Marcus Sorg following an incident during the Champions League semi-final. Flick received a fine and ban for his angry reaction to a referee's decision that led to Barcelona losing their place in the final after a decade.

The UEFA disciplinary committee confirmed the sanctions, with Flick being banned from the sideline for Barcelona's upcoming European campaign. Additionally, Barcelona players Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski were fined for not following UEFA protocol after the match.

The penalties also included fines for a fan throwing objects and lighting a firework, as well as another fan blocking a public passageway. The incident occurred during a thrilling match against Inter Milan in May.
