UK Government Lists 26 Countries for Faster Border Clearance

The UK government has published a list of 26 countries whose citizens are eligible to apply for Registered Traveller membership, a scheme facilitating faster border clearance upon entering the UK. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold an eligible passport.

Additionally, they must possess a valid UK visa if required or have entered the UK at least four times in the past 24 months if they are visa-exempt. The list includes countries from seven regions, such as Seychelles, Brunei, Hong Kong (Special Administrative Region passports only), Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Taiwan (with specific passport conditions), Andorra, Monaco, Israel (with restrictions on travel documents), Bahamas, Mexico, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

The scheme aims to expedite the entry process for frequent visitors from non-European countries.
