Seychelles Only African Nation for UK Fast-Track Entry

The United Kingdom government has confirmed that Seychelles is the only African country eligible for its Registered Traveller membership scheme, which facilitates quicker border clearance for qualifying passport holders upon arrival in the UK. To apply for this membership, applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a passport from an eligible country.

Additionally, they must meet one of two requirements: either hold a valid UK visa if required for entry or have entered the UK at least four times in the past 24 months without needing a visa. It is important to note that qualifying visits must involve entering the UK from another country, as transit through the UK does not count.

Seychelles, an island nation in the Indian Ocean, is one of the few African countries whose citizens can travel to the UK without a visa, which likely contributes to its inclusion in this scheme.
