UK Cleric Advocates Dialogue for Global Peace in Kano

During a public lecture in Kano, Nigeria, a UK-based cleric advocated for dialogue as a means to resolve global conflicts, contrasting it with the violence propagated by groups such as Boko Haram. He pointed out that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) offer a timeless model for resolving disputes and building harmony.

The cleric questioned why peace is not prioritized, especially in light of the ongoing violence and destruction affecting communities. He highlighted the World Peace Movement's vision, which aims to spread messages of peace rooted in Islam to 195 countries, with Nigeria being a significant part of this initiative.

The program in Kano included lectures and mentorship aimed at guiding youth towards peace. The cleric also noted the rise of mental health crises in developed nations, despite material wealth, underscoring the need for inner peace and community spirit in Africa.
