UK Envoys Meet Nigerian Leaders Ahead of 2027 Elections

On Thursday, UK envoys Richard Montgomery, the Deputy High Commissioner, and Gill Lever met with key Nigerian political figures, including Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP). They also engaged with officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), led by Chairman Prof.
