UK Police Arrest Teens in Jewish Site Arson Attack

The Metropolitan Police arrested two males, aged 17 and 19, in relation to an arson attack on a Jewish site in Kenton, Harrow, London. This arrest is part of a broader investigation into a series of attacks against Jewish premises, which have included six separate incidents leading to a total of 15 arrests.

Deputy Commissioner Matt Juke noted the ongoing pattern of "thugs for hire" in the UK, suggesting that these attacks may be instigated by Iranian proxies. The attack involved a bottle containing an accelerant thrown through a window, with smoke seen inside the premises but no injuries reported.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the violence and pledged to bring the perpetrators to justice. Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis expressed concern over the sustained campaign of violence and intimidation against the Jewish community in the UK, emphasizing the urgent need for societal change to address these dangers.
