Ultimum Limited Opens $35M Beverage Plant in Aba

On March 25, 2026, Ultimum Limited officially inaugurated a new beverage production facility in Aba, Abia State, marking a significant milestone in Nigeria's industrial landscape. The plant, which represents a $35 million investment in its first phase, is part of a broader $100 million multi-phase development led by the Kadji Group.

During the inauguration ceremony, Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti emphasized the importance of this investment in repositioning Abia as a business destination, highlighting the growing interest from investors in stable environments that promise good returns.

The facility will produce a variety of beverages, including Razzl Cola and Kiq Energy Drink, and is expected to create hundreds of direct jobs and thousands of indirect employment opportunities. The project reflects a commitment to local manufacturing and aims to strengthen the local supply chain while reducing reliance on imports.

Governor Otti noted that this investment is crucial for diversifying revenue sources and increasing economic activity in the state.
