Umahi Threatens Petition Over Alleged $250M Investment Claim by Winhomes

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has given Winhomes Global Services Limited a seven-day ultimatum to provide evidence supporting their $250 million real estate investment claim. Umahi accuses the company of exaggerating its investment, misinforming the public, and attempting to discredit the government's infrastructure efforts.

He plans to petition the EFCC and the US authorities if verifiable evidence is not provided. Umahi also questions the legitimacy of the claimed investment amount and threatens legal action.

The matter involves land acquisition issues related to the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway project and alleged financial discrepancies.
