Umahi Endorses Tinubu's 2027 Presidential Bid

On Tuesday, David Umahi, the Minister of Works, signed the nomination form for Bola Tinubu, endorsing his candidacy for a second term in the 2027 presidential election. Umahi described this action as a significant step towards sustaining ongoing national development and a reflection of collective commitment to stabilizing and consolidating the gains of the current administration.

He noted that Tinubu's leadership has initiated critical infrastructure reforms, particularly in road construction and rehabilitation, which are vital for economic growth. Umahi stressed the progress made under Tinubu's administration and called for continued public support to achieve long-term national goals.

Additionally, Jame Falek, a lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, expressed interest in obtaining a nomination form on behalf of Tinubu, while Suleiman Argungu procured the form valued at N100 million, signaling the commencement of Tinubu's re-election bid ahead of the elections scheduled for January 16, 2027, for the presidential and national assembly elections, and February 6, 2027, for the governorship and state house assembly elections.
