APC Inaugurates Logistics Committee for 2026 Convention

On Tuesday, David Umahi, the Minister of Works, inaugurated the APC convention logistics committee at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. The committee is responsible for coordinating accommodation and transport logistics for the upcoming national convention scheduled for March 27-28, 2026, which is expected to attract thousands of delegates, party leaders, governors, and special guests from across the country.

Umahi emphasized the importance of early preparations to ensure a seamless convention experience. The committee will be co-chaired by Abba Yusuf, the Governor of Kano State, and will oversee critical logistical operations, including transport plans and accommodation arrangements.

The committee comprises governors, ministers, senators, and senior party leaders, all tasked with ensuring that every logistical detail is handled correctly. Umahi expressed confidence in the committee's ability to deliver a successful event, highlighting that the success of the convention depends significantly on effective logistical arrangements.
