Umeike Re-Appointed Administrator for Eroton Exploration

Mr. Amala Umeike has been re-appointed as the administrator for Eroton Exploration and Production Company Ltd as part of the company's restructuring efforts.

This re-appointment follows a court order delivered on May 5, 2026, in suit number FHC/L/CS/861/2026 involving Kenyon International West Africa Co. Ltd.

Umeike will continue to serve as the chief restructuring officer, overseeing the company's affairs on behalf of its creditors and stakeholders. His mandate includes stabilizing operations, preserving the company's assets, and implementing a structural turnaround process aimed at restoring business viability.

The restructuring does not signify a winding down of operations; rather, it represents a continuation of court-supervised restructuring. Eroton Exploration and Production Company Ltd will remain operational without significant structural changes and will continue to engage with customers, suppliers, and partners under the supervision of the chief restructuring officer.

Creditors and suppliers are called to submit verified claims with supporting documents within seven days.
