Airlines Suspend Flights to Saudi Arabia, Affecting Umrah

Pilgrims like Alhaji Auwal Sani and Hajiya Bilkisu expressed anxiety over the uncertainty of their travel plans, with some considering canceling their trips altogether. Despite the turmoil, Saudi Arabian Airlines continues to operate flights, although there are fears that missile and drone attacks could lead to further restrictions.

Alhaji Abdullateef Ekundayo, the president of the Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators in Nigeria, highlighted the uncertainty surrounding current Umrah operations. The situation remains fluid, with many pilgrims still hoping to travel despite the challenges posed by the geopolitical climate.
