Umuneochi Rulers Host Reception for Nkeiruka Onyejeocha

The Umuneochi Traditional Rulers have finalized plans to host a grand reception for Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, the former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, scheduled for April 24, 2026, at Peace Comprehensive Secondary School in Amuda Isuochi. This event aims to highlight her 16-year tenure in the National Assembly and her significant contributions to the development of the Umuneochi constituency.

The chairman of the Umuneochi Traditional Ruler Council, HRH Franklin Ohanaez, along with Secretary Ez Wilson and Obi Egbo, emphasized the importance of recognizing Onyejeocha's unwavering commitment to the area. The reception will provide an opportunity to celebrate her achievements and reaffirm support for her candidacy in the 2027 general elections.

Onyejeocha, who has served from 2007 to 2023, is recognized for her leadership roles, including chairing key committees focused on rural electrification, school rehabilitation, and youth empowerment. She is considered a strong contender to reclaim her seat in the upcoming elections.
