UNICAL Alumni Inaugurate Starlink Facility for Student Empowerment

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) alumni have inaugurated the multimillion-naira Starlink Internet Facility at the Malabor student hostel on the campus. The facility aims to enhance teaching and learning by providing students with internet access for research and knowledge sharing.

The initiative, led by alumni members from the 1980-1985 set, was commended by UNICAL's leadership for its impact on student development. The facility, facilitated by NSI Technologies Ltd, will offer students access to a global digital library, empowering them to engage in deeper research and academic competition.

The alumni emphasized the importance of leveraging technology to shape the educational experience and inspire students to dream big.
