UNICAL Alumni Launch Naira Starlink Internet Facility for Student Research

University of Calabar (UNICAL) alumni have launched the Naira Starlink Internet Facility at the Malabor hostel project to provide students with access to a global digital library. The initiative aims to enhance research capabilities and empower students with knowledge opportunities without borders.

The Vice-Chancellor, Florence Obi, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Peter Okafor, expressed gratitude for the alumni's generosity. The CEO of Network Systems Ltd, Deisah, implemented the Starlink Internet service on behalf of the alumnus, emphasizing its potential to assist subscribers beyond Nigeria's shores.

This initiative is seen as a significant step towards shaping the lives of future generations and empowering students to compete globally in research and knowledge acquisition.
