UNIJOS Alumni Association Partners for Research Excellence and Peace Development

The University of Jos Alumni Association (UJAA) has unveiled plans to collaborate with government, private entities, and global institutions to enhance UNIJOS's research excellence. As part of the institution's 50th-anniversary celebrations, the UJAA aims to position UNIJOS as a leading research hub in Nigeria and beyond.

The global president, Gad Shamaki, emphasized the importance of education in producing leaders across various sectors. The association plans to focus on research, violence and insecurity studies, and sustainable peace development.

Shamaki highlighted the role of alumni in shaping the future of UNIJOS and fostering a culture of excellence.
