UNILORIN Graduate Faidat Ibrahim Achieves First Class in Agriculture

Faidat Ibrahim, a recent graduate of the University of Ilorin, has gained attention on LinkedIn for her inspiring story of achieving a First Class degree in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management. Initially, Ibrahim dreamed of becoming a doctor, a goal she nurtured from primary school through secondary school, where she excelled in mathematics and participated in national competitions.

Her mathematics teacher, Mr Musa, encouraged her to consider other fields beyond medicine. At 15, she accepted admission to study Agriculture at the University of Ilorin, although she initially felt disconnected from the course.

A pivotal moment occurred in her 300-level when she questioned why she could not excel in her current studies as she had in her original ambition. This self-reflection led her to fully commit to her studies, resulting in her achieving a First Class degree.

Ibrahim's story has resonated with many online, showcasing her determination and success.
