Vincent Ojo Appointed UNIMED's Fourth Registrar

The Governing Council of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, appointed Mr. Vincent Ojo as the fourth substantive Registrar during an extraordinary meeting on April 15, 2026. His appointment is for a non-renewable five-year term, effective from August 3, 2026, with Ojo formally assuming office on September 1, 2026.

He has over two decades of experience in university administration, human resource management, and institutional development. Before this role, Ojo served as Senior Deputy Registrar and Head of the Human Resource Division at the Federal University, Lokoja, Kogi State, and previously worked at the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Ado-Ekiti (2000) and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Strategic Studies from the Federal University, Lokoja (2024). Ojo is a member of the Chartered Institute of Administration, a fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration, and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Human Capital Development of Nigeria.

His appointment is expected to enhance UNIMED's administrative structure and support its strategic objectives in medical and health sciences education.
