UNIUYO VC Urges Protocol Staff to Enhance Professionalism

On a recent date, Prof. Chri Ekong, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Uyo, addressed protocol staff during a training workshop themed "Excel in Protocol and Communication Service Delivery." He urged staff to demonstrate courtesy, maintain a decent dress code, and exhibit professionalism in their interactions.

Enobong Ikpem, warned that any staff member found lacking in these areas could face recommendations for dismissal. The workshop aimed to align the protocol staff with the university's vision and improve public relations.

Mr. Blossom Okori, the Registrar, noted the necessity of training to change the university's narrative and avoid embarrassment.

Dr. Udem Nana presented a paper on critical issues in protocol management, advising staff to pay attention to detail in their duties.
