University of Ibadan Sets 2026/2027 Admission Cut-off Marks

The University of Ibadan (UI) has released the official cut-off marks for its 2026/2027 undergraduate admission exercise, specifically for the programmes of Microbiology, Physiology, and Human Nutrition and Dietetics. The figures were published by the university's Undergraduate Admissions Unit and indicate different score thresholds across three admission categories: Merit, Catchment, and Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS).

For Microbiology, all candidates are required to achieve a minimum score of 50.625. Physiology has a Merit and Catchment cut-off of 55.375, while ELDS candidates must score at least 52.00.

Human Nutrition and Dietetics has the highest thresholds, with a Merit and Catchment cut-off of 58.125 and a lower ELDS requirement of 53.00. The ELDS category aims to assist applicants from educationally disadvantaged states, allowing them to gain admission at lower cut-off scores compared to those in the general merit or catchment categories.
