Actor Adewale Elesho Successfully Undergoes Surgery

Veteran actor Prince Adewale Adeoye Elesho has successfully undergone surgery, with the announcement made on Saturday, August 29, by Prince Adejonwo Oluwafemi, the National Publicity Secretary of the Association of Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP). This news comes after weeks of anxiety and speculation regarding Elesho's health, particularly concerning rumors about a potential battle with skin cancer, which arose from observations made by fans at a public event.

Following the surgery, it was confirmed that Elesho is stable and recuperating well. The ANTP addressed the online concerns and expressed gratitude to those who reached out.

Following the update, many well-wishers expressed relief and continued to pray for Elesho's full recovery. Additionally, it was noted that Elesho had attended the funeral of the late Taiwo Hassan Ogogo on August 24, 2026, where he praised Ogogo's character, describing him as an "omoluabi," a term denoting honor and integrity.
